Vehicle Registration in Jharkhand R.T.O.

If someone intends to purchase a vehicle in Jharkhand, they are obligated to register it with the Jharkhand R.T.O. within 15 days of the vehicle acquisition. Upon purchasing a car, the dealer issues a temporary Registration Certificate (R.C.) specific to the state, which holds validity for one month. To obtain a permanent registration certificate, one must pay the registration fee and submit it along with the required documents to the Jharkhand R.T.O. The designated R.T.O. officer will conduct a vehicle inspection before issuing a registration number to the individual.
