5th Generation Honda City Open for Booking Before Launch

The all-new Honda City is set for its launch in the Indian market in July 2020 but the manufacturer has already allowed pre-booking of this 5th generation sedan. This generation will come equipped with a BS6 compliant engine as required by the norms enforced from April 01, 2020. Customers can book 2020 Honda City either through the Honda’s Home online sales platform or from an authorized dealer. The token amount is set to Rs. 5000. The city has 6-speed MT and 7-speed automatic CVT options on petrol engines and 6-speed manual transmission for the diesel variant. In terms of mileage, the car can churn out nearly 17.8kmpl as certified by ARAI. It excels on the safety front with a 5-star rating at ASEAN NCAP as well. The design of the car is said to be inspired by the Japanese Katana blade and has excellent aesthetic appeal. It sports a beige and black dual-tone cabin with an 8-inch interactive infotainment system. The 5th-Gen City is expected to lock horns with models like Volkswagen Vento, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, 2020 Skoda Rapid, and 2020 Hyundai Verna.
