Team AckoFeb 27, 2024

The Dubai Creek Tower is a landmark project at Dubai Creek Harbour, United Arab Emirates. The construction of this mega skyscraper is underway, and is scheduled to be completed in 2025. The Creek Tower is designed to be the centrepiece of Dubai Creek Harbour. Once the construction is completed, the skyscraper will be on its way to become the tallest building in Dubai. It will outshine the current tallest building in Dubai, the Burj Khalifa.

Designed by Swizz-Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. The architect is popular for his iconic projects, the World Trade Center Transportation Hub in New York City and the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens in Athens.

The Dubai Creek Tower's architecture was inspired by the sails of traditional Arabian dhow ships, the minarets of a mosque, and the lily flower. The magnificent sail-shaped building will be clad in more than 10,000 LED lights. These lights will surely create a dazzling display at night. The top of the tower will have an observation deck and sky lounge with birds-eye views of the city. For visitors, it will be a memorable experience to witness the panoramic views of Dubai from such a height.

10 Highlights of the Dubai Creek Tower

The birds-eye view of Dubai City from this height would be a sight worth seeing. The Creek Tower will house observatories and multiple smaller revolving platforms located at the edge of the deck. These balcony-like structures will give visitors an open-air space to witness the impressive Dubai views.

  5. The creek tower will house the world's highest elevated gardens at the observation deck. These gardens are inspired by the historic hanging gardens of Babylon.

  7. The main uses of Dubai Creek Tower would be observation decks and sky gardens. It will also have the world's highest mosque. Twenty floors in the tower will be occupied by hotels, restaurants, and residences. The antenna, which you can see at the peak of the tower, will be used for broadcasting purposes.
